June, 9th 2011 - National Workshop for the presentation of the MacrOper classification System

On the 9th of June, since 11.00 to 17.00, at the National Research Council (Consiglio Nazionale delle Ricerche - CNR, Sala Convegni, Piazzale Aldo Moro 7, Rome) a workshop wasl be held to comprehensively present (in Italian) the MacrOper System, in use in Italy to classify rivers for the WFD based on aquatic invertebrates (DM 260/2010). The full title of the event is: "Il Sistema MacrOper e l’implementazione della WFD: dal campionamento alla classificazione dei corpi idrici fluviali sulla base dei macroinvertebrati bentonici [The MacrOper System and  WFD implementation: from sampling to classification of river water bodies based on benthic invertebrates]".

During the day, a presentation with the title: "Il progetto LIFE+ INHABIT e il suo contributo al Sistema MacrOper [The LIFE+ INHABIT project and its contribution to the MacrOper System]" was given by ARPA Piemonte.
